In other news, I got my BLADS today — you know like if you buy a hardcover book, you can pull off the cover and have a nice shiny printed sheet? Well, those are BLADS and they often have marketing info on the inside. They basically show you what your cover will look like when it's done.
BLADs on the floor:
I traditionally take one and stick it on another book, just to see what my book will eventually look like when it's, you know, done. So here it is on, I think, The Joy of Cooking:
I tweeted my image of the BLAD on TJOC and apparently my publicist got several requests for ARCs becaue "clearly the book is done" so for that, I apologize. It was not my intent to mislead. :D It was my intent to leave the BLAD cover on the Joy of Cooking overnight and wake up to discover that the two books had mysteriously and alchemically melded into the steampunk tale of a handsome Shadowhunter on the trail of the perfect duck a l'orange recipe.
